Good morning Anchor Islanders!
It’s hard to believe, but we are already looking towards the Spring 2021 semester. TAMU-CC anticipates posting the course schedule online on Monday, October 12 and opening registration on Monday, October 26.
Due to the health and safety measures already in place, Anchor program advisors will be meeting with students virtually. All advising appointments will take place via WebEx or phone appointments. Anchor program advisors will not be holding walk-in hours. You can schedule an appointment through the Anchor online appointment scheduler, TimeTap (https://tamuccadvising_anchor.timetap.com/). Please don’t wait until the last minute to book your appointments because your Anchor program advisor’s time slots will fill quickly!
This is an extremely busy time of year for the Anchor program advisors and their schedules will be booked with appointments back to back; they will not be able to fit students in on an emergency basis. Please plan ahead. One of the ways you can do this is by reviewing the helpful videos on the link below:
We look forward to helping you plan your next semester with us on the Island!

Program Manager, Anchor

College Station will send your application to TAMU-CC. You DO NOT have to apply here on your own. If you did apply here on your own before you were offered PSA, you will still have to follow the steps above if you want to be a PSA student at TAMU-CC.

What is the PSA program?
The Program for System Admission (PSA) is an alternative admission program for selected students not offered freshman admission to Texas A&M University. PSA provides students the opportunity to attend a Texas A&M University system institution with the goal of enrolling at Texas A&M in College Station after one year.
Is the PSA program right for you? At first glance you might say yes, but there are things to consider.
You must attend Islander Launch (orientation) to register for fall classes.
What can you expect at Orientation? Go here to find out.
Question 4: Is MATH 1324 and MATH 1325 required on your PSA plan?
UPDATE!! Starting fall 2020 the only pre-requisite for MATH 1324 will be college readiness. In other words, if you passed the TSI Math (or you are exempt), you have met the pre-requisite for MATH 1324.
Question 5: Is MATH 2413 and MATH 2414 required on your PSA plan?
Question 8: Are you planning on pursuing any of the following PSA plans?

Question 9: Does Foreign Language I & II appear in the Required Coursework on your PSA plan?
Question 13: How can I tell if a college class I’ve already taken will count on my PSA plan or transfer to College Station? There are two methods you can use to determine this:
