Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences
The Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences (BAAS) program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi builds on the knowledge and skills that students with formal training in a vocational-technical studies area have acquired. Students may choose from 11 different tracks to obtain the degree. Each track is designed to meet a workforce need and is comprised of interdisciplinary course requirements. The following tracks are available:
Admission: Students need an AAS degree from a recognized program or completion of up to 33 hours of vocational/technical credit from an accredited junior college. Students must have completed some vocational-technical training to be admitted into the program.
If you would like to apply, please:
- Submit an application to the university by going to https://www.applytexas.org/adappc/gen/c_start.WBX. Mark “Applied Science” as your major.
- Send transcripts from all of the colleges you have previously attended.
- Please call to schedule an appointment with the Academic Advisor to discuss your degree program and the transfer of your vocational/technical coursework.
- Once your application is complete, you will receive an admission decision in about 2 weeks.
