Professional Assistant Professor
Melanie loves the multidisciplinary nature of seminar, because she could never make up her mind what she wanted to study. She has a Ph.D. in English from King's College London, though she also has a background in film, cultural studies, political theory, and continental philosophy. She has a Master's degree in Modern British History with a concentration in imperialism from Washington University in St. Louis. Her articles have appeared in Irish Studies Review and Textual Practice. She is currently completing a book manuscript based loosely on her dissertation research. She teaches within the literature, history, and music learning communities.
