Hector Galvan

Hector Galván Jr. is both a Writing and Rhetoric Professor and Seminar Instructor at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. He earned his B.A. with a double major in English and Philosophy, and his M.A. in English with a concentration in Writing Studies, from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.  His research interests include Writing Studies, American Pragmatism, and Meta-Ethics. He has presented his research at national conferences such as The Conference on College Composition and Communication and the American Philosophical Association. However, he feels most at home working with undergraduate students to help them grow as independent learners and considers the time he spends with his students to be the most valuable and enjoyable part of his job
