University College is home to several programs with the mission of supporting undergraduate student success at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Each year, we engage over 2,000 new first-year students in our
First-Year Learning Communities Program, which includes over 100 sections of First-Year Seminar each semester (UCCP 1101 and UCCP 1102). Our
Honors Program supports over 100 undergraduate students across our five Colleges. We offer several applied degrees through our
Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences (BAAS) program and our partnership with local high schools enriches the academic careers of our dual-credit students through
Islander Academy. Before students even arrive, the faculty and staff of University College are helping students orient to college-level academics and campus life through
Islander Launch (new student orientation and more!) and
Academic Advising. This just scratches the surface of the fun and rich community in University College. Navigate through the links below to learn more!
